Azzurra Piccardi is an award-winning fashion, beauty and portrait photographer based in Milan, Italy, with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

She specialises in luxury fashion campaigns, beauty and cosmetics photography, editorial photography for magazines, and celebrity and portrait photography. Her visual style is minimal, emotive and timeless — with a pictorial, painterly quality that gives images longevity beyond their season.

Azzurra creates visual communication for fashion brands, beauty companies, jewellery houses, accessories brands, hair and cosmetics companies, communication agencies, production houses and fashion and beauty magazines.

She regularly travels for assignments, working between Milan, Florence, and locations across Europe and worldwide — wherever the brief takes her.

Azzurra is also an educator: she teaches photography at Fondazione Studio Marangoni and Accademia Italiana, and runs Imagery Academy, her own photography education platform.
